The Zero-Telemetry Commitment

Sentry AI operates under a strict zero-knowledge, zero-telemetry architecture. We do not collect, store, transmit, or monetize any personal information, browsing history, visited URLs, IP addresses, search queries, or device fingerprints. Zero bytes of your personal activity are ever sent to our servers or any third-party infrastructure.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

Unlike conventional ad blockers and commercial privacy tools that bundle analytics or telemetry services, Sentry AI is engineered without remote telemetry:

  • No Browsing Activity: We have zero visibility into visited websites, session duration, or page contents.
  • No IP Addresses or Hardware IDs: No network addresses, device models, or MAC addresses are logged or transmitted.
  • No Form Data or Keystrokes: Sentry AI never inspects or captures passwords, credit cards, or text input.
  • No Cloud User Accounts: Sentry AI does not require you to sign up, provide an email, or connect social profiles.

2. Local-Only Processing Architecture

All Sentry AI protection engines execute exclusively inside your browser's local sandbox:

  • DeclarativeNetRequest Engine: 120,000+ filtering rules are evaluated natively in Chromium's C++ runtime directly on your device.
  • Mulberry32 PRNG Cloaking: Hardware, Canvas, and WebGL noise perturbations are generated in-memory per-origin and never stored or broadcast.
  • Local Storage: Custom whitelist rules, element zapper selectors, and settings are saved locally in chrome.storage.local and never leave your machine.

3. Commercial Anti-AI Defense & Header Injection

To shield your content and reading habits from generative AI scrapers (Meta, OpenAI, Google, ByteDance), Sentry AI injects protective HTTP request headers (Sec-GPC: 1 and X-Robots-Tag: noai, noimageai). These headers communicate your refusal to have your browsing sessions ingested into machine learning datasets.

4. Third-Party Services & Updates

Extension updates are delivered exclusively through official browser web stores (Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, Microsoft Edge Add-ons) according to their respective distribution protocols. Sentry AI hosts zero third-party trackers, affiliate redirectors, or behavioral tracking SDKs.

5. Open Source Transparency

True privacy requires independent verifiability. Sentry AI is completely open source under the GPLv3 license. Every line of code, rule compilation script, and fingerprint cloaking algorithm is publicly auditable on our GitHub repository at github.com/arklabai/sentry.
