Summary of Terms

Sentry AI is free and open-source software distributed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPLv3). By using, downloading, or contributing to Sentry AI, you agree that the software is provided as-is without warranties, and that you are granted full freedom to inspect, modify, and redistribute the code in accordance with the open-source license.

1. Software Freedom & Open Source License

Sentry AI is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation. You have the right to view, audit, fork, and compile the source code directly from our public GitHub repository.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

Sentry AI is designed to protect your personal privacy, block intrusive advertisements, cloak hardware entropy signatures, and prevent non-consensual AI model training scraping. You agree not to use Sentry AI to conduct malicious cyberattacks, disrupt network infrastructure, or violate applicable laws.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the software.

4. Third-Party Websites & Filter Lists

Sentry AI utilizes standard declarative filter lists (such as EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Peter Lowe's Blocklist, and custom anti-AI crawler rules) to block tracking endpoints. We do not endorse or control third-party websites, and we are not responsible for content served by external destinations.

5. Source Code & Contributions

Contributions, bug reports, and pull requests are welcomed. All contributions must respect the open-source license and adhere to our zero-telemetry code standards. Visit our GitHub repository at github.com/arklabai/sentry.
